Hopefully you are getting good results Right This Very Minute. But if you're still waiting, I can give you a first hand tale of non-doubling betas that resulted in good things. I had a high first, increase of about 50% to the second beta, and then a scant doubling on the third. And I have triplets. After transferring two blasts. Yeah, that part was a hell of a surprise.
Fingers crossed for you.

You've got it! :) My numbers never doubled. Except with the pregnancy that ended in a miscarriage. My twin pregnancy had an initial beta of 101, second beta was 170. Yes, that was with TWINS. My initial beta with my daughter was 40, the second was only 60...my RE didn't hold out much hope for that one. But they are all here, 3 kids under 4. Not bad for an infertile. :)

I second the vanishing twin theory. You had a very strong initial beta, and that is a GREAT thing. With my daughter I was in a panic so I raided all the beta sites. The word on the street now is, that as long as your initial number is good and it doesn't stay the same or go down, your pregnancy is viable until proven otherwise. Hang in there!!!

My betas didn't double in the first while either. I cried, thrashed and thought for sure I was losing the pregnancy. Today, I'm staring at the two 7 month wonders that came as a result.
Thinking of you.

My beta didn't double, either. My son was born, full term and healthy, and is now 18 months old. It can totally be okay. But I know the panic and my fingers will be crossed that all is well.

Try not to worry. I'm a terrible doubler. I'm lucky if I get 66%! If it is any consolation, I am holding 2 sleeping 6 month olds and they doubled 33% every day during those early betas.

Hugs...

Yeah i too have read alot of different scenarios on betas and their doubling times, etc. Don't sweat anything girl. I hope you can go in tomorrow and not wait out the weekend. I am still very excited, so try to be too k? Hope the power comes back, but like you said a small thing in the scheme of the big picture right about now. Mad hugs girl. xoxoxoxox

It was always my impression that betas have a 48-72 hour window for doubling.
I know it's easier said than done, but hang in there until Monday!! Rooting for ya!

You first beta was so strong that it could just be a vanishing twin. Don't fret yet. Keep the positive vibes coming. Give P a hug and focus on the good things (had to do without power, I'm sure) and hopefully the days will pass quickly until Monday. (I know, easier said than done.)

Hang in there. Sending hugs your way.
